CrankMail was a bicycling mini-magazine, a micropress ‘zine, that served bicyclists in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio, area from early 1975 (maybe earlier) and into 2008. Over the years we’ve seen a lot of changes. We’ve gone from typewriters to desktop publishing, and from the printing press to the World Wide Web. In 2008 CrankMail ceased publication. This site preserves what we can of the past and offers a little guidance today.

If you have copies of issues that we do not currently display in our Archive section, please consider contributing them to us or loaning a copy for us to scan. Most of the early editions have been lost over the years.
