We observed New Year’s Day 2018 by uploading and linking our entire collection of CrankMail PDFs on a dedicated archives page (see navigation menu). It was a bit tedious but satisfying to know those issues of CrankMail have been returned to public access. I wish our collection were more complete but with the various methods of publication employed and the changing development and economics of digital technologies, our archive is far from complete. At any rate, I hope you will enjoy looking back at the Greater Cleveland Area’s cycling history as reflected in our little magazine. — J. Guilford

This site is to continue as the online archive for CrankMail, the Greater Cleveland area’s bicycling mini-magazine. We are hoping to breathe a bit more life into CrankMail here so do return. And if you need a blast from the past, peruse our PDF-archived publications as we gradually upload them.

Yes, at long last we will be moving the CrankMail operations and archives to WordPress from its longstanding online home. This is partly to save the hosting fees and partly to make the site more useful.
The hardest part of the move will be re-uploading the PDF archived publications. Still, it will need to be done by December 28.
So, here we go!
This is a Test
I am trying out WordPress as the platform for a new and improved version of CrankMail’s online presence. If it works well and has enough versatility, I may be moving other traditional “static-page” sites here.
